I had experienced an earthquake before in 1931. I saw Marines killing people who were asking for help. People were pinned under rubble and the help they got was a bullet to put them out of their misery. They murdered them. I was 11 years old, but I was very aware of what was happening. The American government allied itself with the Somoza regime. We only received calamity, destruction and corruption. If it weren't for the fact that the American people are so generous, friendly, in a word, beautiful, we would hate them for their government. |
